Location: Sydney, Australia Base Salary: $180,000 + incentivesWe’re scaling fast and need a heavyweight BD operator — someone who can open doors, build pipelines, and close enterprise-grade deals without being handheld.If you’ve sold SaaS, Cyber Security, or Cloud Services in Australia, you’re already in the right lane.If you’ve sold to SMBs or mid-market technology buyers, even better.About UsInfoArchitect delivers enterprise-grade cloud security to Australian SMBs using a modern security platform (CSPM, CIEM, CDR, SIEM/SOAR, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, Managed WAF, SOC, Essential Eight compliance). Our lead-gen engine, outreach, and junior BD team already handle top-of-funnel. We need a senior who can turn warm conversations into revenue — repeatedly.What You Will OwnThis is not a passive account manager role. This is a quota-carrying hunter role with full autonomy.Core ResponsibilitiesOwn the entire mid-funnel and bottom-funnel sales cycle — qualification, scoping, proposals, and closing.Convert inbound and pre-qualified leads generated by our lead-gen and junior BD team.Build and manage relationships with SMB and mid-market decision-makers across IT, Cyber, Cloud, Compliance, and Leadership.Pitch our security platform and service bundles (CSPM, CDR, SIEM/SOAR, SOC, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, Cloud Landing Zones).Run discovery sessions and map customer problems directly to our service offering.Develop proposals, pricing approvals, and commercial negotiations.Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and deal progression.Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities across our security product suite.Represent the company in industry events, partner networks, and MSP ecosystems.What You Don’t Have to Do You’re not doing cold outreach. You’re not building lists. You’re not sending mass campaigns.LinkedIn outreach, Apollo, and email automation are already handled by the lead-gen team.Your job is simple: turn conversations into closed revenue.MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in any ONE of:SaaS SalesCyber Security SalesCloud Managed Services / Cloud Consulting SalesPlus the essentials:Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.Comfortable running full-cycle B2B sales with technical buyers.Ability to translate security and cloud products into business outcomes.Strong commercial negotiation skills.Familiarity with Australian SMB and mid-market ecosystems.Ability to work independently and move deals without bureaucracy.
