The RoleThe Enterprise Business Development Executive (BDE) will own and develop end-user relationships to drive adoption of the full AMD portfolio across Australia. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, the BDE will collaborate closely with end customers, VARs, system integrators, and distribution partners to accelerate OEM sales in the Australian market.This role is responsible for executing AMD’s go-to-market strategy and expanding our presence across Enterprise, Corporate, and SMB segments, spanning PC Client, Server, Cloud, Workstation, Date Centre Graphics, and Thin Client solutions.The PersonThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:A strong competitive drive and a passion for winningHigh levels of confidence, maturity, and integrityAn open and effective communication style—capable of engaging from frontline sales to senior executive levelsTrustworthiness and professionalism in all internal and external interactionsAbility to listen, understand customer needs, and translate them into actionable internal requirementsKey ResponsibilitiesAchieve AMD revenue, unit, and market share targetsManage an accurate forecast and multi-quarter pipeline (SFDC)Develop and execute sales-out and go-to-market strategies to expand AMD’s market shareServe as the primary AMD representative to key enterprise, and corporate customers across AustraliaIdentify customer challenges and present compelling AMD value propositionsLeverage existing relationships with Australian SIs, VARs, resellers, and channel ecosystemsMaintain strong working relationships with Partner Sales teams at OEMs such as HPi, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, and othersEngage with strategic ecosystem partners such as Microsoft and relevant ISVsPreferred ExperienceThe successful candidate will ideally bring:Demonstrated success in a similar enterprise business development or technology sales roleProven ability to build strong customer relationships that translate into consistent sales resultsAt least 5 years of progressive experience in IT, cloud, or infrastructure technology salesPrevious experience working directly with OEMs such as HP, HPE, Lenovo, Dell, or othersExperience navigating and influencing within a cross-functional, matrixed organizationA proactive, self-driven mindset and ability to thrive in an autonomous environmentLOCATION:Sydney/Melbourne, AustraliaBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
