This may include the following activities and responsibilities:Lead the response on specific client and engagement pursuits and proposals Support industry and market research through research and business development initiatives Acting as a key member of engagement execution teams for acquisitions, disposals, IPOs, rights issues, financial forecast reviews, feasibility studies or other bespoke financial advisory engagements. This will involve supporting senior team members with:Developing information and data request lists to support due diligence processesSelecting appropriate methods for collating and analyzing large and complex data sets including financial information, operational metrics, material contracts and other information Analysis and presentation of financial information in a clear and coherent manner to support the due diligence or review engagement Interpret financial information and articulate insights to the wider team through calculation of appropriate benchmarks, statistics, financial and other ratiosIndependently define and articulate a set of key transaction considerations and findings to share with wider team for discussion Lead meetings and calls with clients and other stakeholders as part of the engagement process Independently draft sections of the due diligence report (or similar client deliverable) for review by senior team members Process changes to proposals, data analysis and report documents as requested by senior team members Independently lead and deliver engagement administration functions including contracting, independence, risk management, compliance, and review processes Delegating to junior team members where appropriate and managing their performanceSupport on engagement and client take-on and on-boarding process. This will include liaising with the risk and compliance teams to fulfil regulatory and compliance requirements Supporting the wider team on administrative matters Leadership CapabilitiesBuilds own understanding of our purpose and values; explores opportunities for impactDemonstrates strong commitment to personal learning and development; acts as a brand ambassador to help attract top talentUnderstands expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on trackActively focuses on developing effective communication and relationship-building skillsUnderstands how their daily work contributes to the priorities of the team and the businessQualificationsBachelor’s degree from a reputable, recognized institution Strong academic track record International accounting qualification is preferable: CA, ACCA or CPAWillingness to pursue an additional financial designation (e.g. CFA) 4-6 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or investment related positionExperience working with transaction support, valuation, due diligence, financial re-structuring, feasibility studies/projections, IPO's Strong commercial acumen and skills around identifying materials risks, value drivers and other key considerations in the context of an M&A transaction life cycle Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) and presentation of analysis (Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Word) Attention to detail in analysis and presentation with a focus on self-review Strong business writing and presentation skills Focus on personal accountability for maintaining high performanceStrong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills Strong sense of commitment and dedication to quality of service Motivated self-starter with a focus on personal learning, development, and career trajectory Alignment with our core values of integrity, ethics, diversity, and inclusionDual English/Arabic language proficiency is preferred but not essential.
