This is a strategic and senior position, supporting the company in the preparation of accounting and financial reports that will serve as a foundation for business decisions.The Senior Controller will oversee accounting, tax, and financial planning activities across multiple LATAM entities (primarily Panama, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic), ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. Additionally, this role will serve as a consultative partner to the commercial team on fiscal matters impacting sales across Latin America and the Caribbean.This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced finance professional to shape the financial foundation of a fast-growing, tech-driven company — and to grow their career with a leading U.S.-based organization in a fully remote environment.What You'll DoLead all accounting, tax, and FP&A operations.Manage the preparation and submission of tax filings and accounting reports to local authorities.Oversee financial planning and performance metrics, including profitability, working capital, and capital efficiency.Manage fixed assets and ensure proper controls and reporting.Design and implement internal controls to ensure accurate records and compliance with company policies and local laws.Produce and interpret financial reports, providing data-driven recommendations for decision-making and business optimization.Serve as a trusted advisor for the commercial team on tax and accounting implications across LATAM operations.What You Need7+ years of experience as a Controller or in a senior finance leadership role.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA - Panama.Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations in LATAM, ideally with exposure in Panama.Experience with IFRS and US GAAP.Understanding of internal controls and experience implementing them.Full professional proficiency in Spanish; English is highly desirable.Experience in multinational or regional organizations preferred.Salary & PerksCompetitive Salary.This is a full-time, direct-hire, long-term position.Benefits according to the law.Work from home Monday through Friday.Additional perks.The next step will take you to an application form that requires you to answer some questions and upload your resume in English.
