We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our client’s growing team in the Chicago Loop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across various systems and processes. This role involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights and support business decision-making.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):Data Acquisition and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and validate data from diverse sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.Data Analysis and Interpretation: Utilize statistical techniques and data mining tools to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.Data Visualization: Create clear and informative visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Business Insights: Provide actionable business insights and identify trends based on comprehensive data analysis, translating findings into clear recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning.Reporting: Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decision-making.Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and audits to identify and resolve data issues.Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality and security.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest data analysis techniques and tools and actively seek opportunities to improve data processes and insights.Mentorship/Training: Support, train and mentor junior analysts within the team on best practices.Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:Experience maintaining and validating data integrity across multiple sources.Ability to troubleshoot and identify discrepancies in sales data.Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis, visualization, and reportingStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate tasks, priorities, and updates across cross-functional teamsExperience with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce) is a plus.Basic knowledge of version control for maintaining reports and documentation.Familiarity with Medicare products and sales processes (preferred but not required).Understanding of industry-specific domain knowledge (e.g., Healthcare, Insurance).Experience supporting multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent data updates.Education, Training and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management, Economics, or a related field.Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and modify basic to intermediate SQL queries for data analysis.Familiarity with Power BI report consumption and basic development; advanced development a plusBasic knowledge of Python sufficient enough to maintain and make modifications to existing scriptsHighly proficient in Excel for data management and reporting; pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data validation.Experience working with sales data, preferably in insurance or healthcare environments.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary systems and databases.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to understand business needs and prioritize important tasks.
