The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and managing data pipelines, including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. The role includes developing data models, ensuring efficient data storage, and supporting robust data warehousing solutions. The engineer will also optimize the collection and analysis of large datasets to deliver actionable insights and support decision-making processes.Technical Skillset:• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.• Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and data lakes on Azure.• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and tools, such as Azure Data Studio.• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.• Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and methodologies.• Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing principles.• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data and analytics projects, preferably within the technology or financial services industry.• Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to data and analytics solutions.• Experience in conducting data analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project management and collaboration. QualificationsBachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.Azure certifications MANDATORY.At least 8 years of Data engineering or Software development experience and managing large-scale data processing systems.Mid-Senior level experience suits best.Hospitality domain experience is plus.
