Job PostSenior DesignerApply »Company: Caroline Brackett Studio of DesignDuration: Full-timeDate Posted: 09/16/25Category: Interior DesignLocation: GreenvilleSalary: 50-100kJob DescriptionReports to: Principal Designer / OwnerResponsibilities Develop and design projects through completion with minimal review and supervision Prepare and coordinate the design team if applicable Conceptualize and create design ideas through 3D visualization, mood boards and hand-sketching Develop space plans, project budget, schedule and programming documentation Selections and specifications of finish materials and furniture Create and manage time and materials budgets for projects Track time using Design Manager software Prepare design and construction documents to generate detailed design solutions Communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants Lead project meetings & client presentations Organize and prioritize projects and assist with organizing team members, tasks and meetings Administer contract documents, bids & negotiations including construction administration Review shop drawings and submittals Mentoring and management of junior and intermediate designer/interns Knowledge of building codes and building systems 3 – 5 years minimum experienceJob RequirementsAdditional Qualifications Commercial and residential interior design experience preferred Excellent oral, written and graphic communication skills Run design project on time and on budget Strong knowledge of the design process including specification of materials, FF&E, and project management Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Asana, Slack and Microsoft Office Desire and ability to work in a creative, service-oriented environment and prioritize while performing on multiple projects simultaneously Resilient to coping with client demands & able to prioritize duties and work effectively Team-oriented Must be able to work independently with little supervisionEDUCATIONBachelor’s Degree in Interior DesignNCIDQ Preferred, But Not Required The description reflects the core activities of the role but is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities and activities for the position.
