Senior Designer

We're currently on the lookout for a Senior Designer to join a creative agency that focused on social causes and community engagement.In this role, you'll develop and oversee creative solutions that meet diverse client needs. This is a hands-on position, meaning you’ll be actively involved in crafting concepts for editorial, communications and ad campaigns, from initial ideas to final execution. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of visual communication, graphic design principles, and layout techniques. If you enjoy bringing multi-channel communications campaigns to life, whether print, web, social, or video, you’ll find this role exciting. You have the ability to take a concept from brainstorming to production-ready assets seamlessly.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative concepts and oversee execution from ideation to final deliveryDesign original pieces, including illustrations and infographics, and adapt stock imagery when neededApply core typography and layout techniques to enhance visual storytellingGenerate and refine ideas for digital, social, web, and printEnsure brand consistency across all creative materialsCollaborate with internal teams to meet project deadlinesParticipate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas and approachesPrioritize tasks, manage shifting deadlines, and work efficiently under tight timelinesBe receptive to constructive feedback and iterate accordinglyStay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practicesTrack and manage project time effectivelyQualificationsCollege or university diploma in design, or equivalent professional experience5+ years of proven experience in a creative role with hands on technical skills using Adobe Creative Suite and other tools as requiredA portfolio showcasing a range of work, with particular expertise in editorial design and layoutStrong integrated design and production skills are a must!Soft Skills: Ability to work with tight timelines, remaining calm under pressureReceptive to feedback with ability to apply client input into designs Collaborative and interested in bringing input and ideas to the table
