This leader will partner with executive stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making, oversee a high-performance analytics team and deliver measurable business impact through data science, business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate is both a visionary strategist and a hands-on leader who can translate complex data into actionable insights that drives operational excellence and delivers business results. This includes providing senior management with reporting and insights required to manage business performance, working with various functional departments (Sales, Finance and Trade Marketing) and supporting ad hoc strategic projects.ResponsibilitiesJob Description:Oversee the implementation of a long-term data and analytics strategyEvaluate and implement best-in-class analytics tools, platforms and methodologiesUtilize emerging trends in AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to drive insightsOversee data governance to ensure accuracy, accessibility and completenessChampion scalable and sustainable data practices across the organizationWork with various stakeholders to understand business drivers, goals, and actionable outcomes using analyticsDrive business decision making based on analysis and insights generation.As a member of the BBC Leadership Team, contribute to the broader leadership and strategic development of the business.Build an organization able to meet current and future business challenges through organization development, coaching and capability developmentPresent strategic implications to senior leadership in an accurate and compelling manner.Maintain high levels of employee engagement and a culture that encompasses the Company ValuesDrive engagement and utilization of selling tools and technology to maximize business performanceOther duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent required10 years management experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data science7+ years’ experience as a senior business leader with a proven track record of delivering business results.Strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics and visualization tools (eg.
