Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Environment Creation & WorldbuildingDesign, block out, and build high-quality 3D environments (interiors, exteriors, landscapes, urban, stylized or realistic) in Blender.Translate concept art, mood boards, and references into fully realized 3D scenes.Create or assemble modular, reusable environment kits (buildings, props, foliage, terrain) for efficient scene construction.Ensure environments support the narrative, gameplay, and camera framing needs of the project. Lighting, Lookdev & MoodOwn lighting design for shots/sequences or levels: key, fill, rim, accent, atmospheric and practical lights.Set up physically plausible or stylized lighting in Blender (Eevee/Cycles) based on project requirements.Drive look development: balancing shaders, textures, and lighting to achieve a cohesive final look.Use color theory, composition, and contrast to guide the viewer’s eye and support storytelling.Create consistent day/night, seasonal, and mood variations for the same environment. Technical Quality & OptimizationBuild scenes that are optimized: efficient geometry, instancing, LOD thinking, texture atlases, and clean linking/asset libraries.Troubleshoot render issues, noise, flicker, artifacts, and performance problems within Blender.Set up and maintain Blender asset libraries, collections, and scene structure for team-wide use.Work with technical artists/developers to ensure environments and lighting are compatible with render pipelines or engine export (if applicable). Requirements:5+ years of professional experience as an Environment Artist / Lighting Artist / 3D GeneralistExpert-level Blender 3D skills, including: Advanced modeling (hard-surface & organic)Scene/Collection management and asset linkingGeometry Nodes for environment layout or procedural details (strong plus)Advanced use of Eevee and Cycles (GI, sampling, denoising, AOVs, light linking where applicable) Nice to Have:Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine / Unity) and environment export workflows.Basic to intermediate Blender Python scripting for tools, automation, or batch operations.Familiarity with photogrammetry, 3D scans, or Megascans-style libraries and integrating them into scenes. Experience with HDRI creation/use and light rigs for different scenarios (studio, outdoor, interior, etc.).Knowledge of 2D tools (Photoshop, Krita, Affinity, etc.) for paintovers, matte painting, or texture polish.Location: I-11/3, Islamabad
