Senior Executive - HSE

Job DescriptionObjective:This position is responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs within the distribution center. The role ensures compliance with local regulations and company standards, conducts risk assessments, promotes a strong safety culture, and supports continuous improvement in workplace safety and sustainability practices.Key Responsibility:HSE Policy ImplementationDevelop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and operational guidelines aligned with local laws and company objectives.Ensure compliance with global and regional safety standards and regulatory bodies.Risk Assessment & ComplianceConduct workplace risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.Recommend and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.Monitor compliance with safety protocols and support audit readiness.Incident ManagementLead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.Maintain incident reports and corrective action tracking systems.Training & AwarenessOrganize safety training programs, toolbox talks, and HSE inductions for employees and contractors.Promote safety culture through awareness campaigns and continuous communication.Safety Inspections & Emergency PreparednessPerform routine safety inspections of equipment, storage areas, and emergency systems.Develop and conduct emergency drills and response plans in coordination with relevant teams.Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate and up-to-date records for safety inspections, incident logs, and training attendance.Generate regular reports and dashboards for HSE leadership and DC management.PPE & Environmental InitiativesEnsure availability and correct usage of PPE across all operational areas.Support environmental sustainability projects such as waste reduction and energy conservation.Desired Experience:5-7 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety & Environment, preferably within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.Working knowledge of occupational safety regulations and international HSE standards.Hands-on experience in conducting safety audits, trainings, and risk assessments.Strong communication and reporting skills with an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.About Us"Apparel Group is a global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate residing at the crossroads of the modern economy - Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
