Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S) is a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to serving individuals on the autism spectrum throughout their lives. Based in Singapore, ARC(S) offers a range of services and resources tailored to meet the growing concerns and needs of the autism communityAs an Executive / Senior Executive in the Procurement Department, you will be instrumental in supporting the organisation procurement function, reviewing procurement requests, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and providing advisory services to internal stakeholders. This role is critical in maintaining transparency, cost-effectiveness and adherence to organisational policies with the use of procurement system/tools.Your impact and contribution shall include:Responsibilities:Review procurement requests from departments to ensure specifications are complete and suitable for publication, evaluation, award and contract management in compliance with procurement policyManage the end-to-end procurement process on the procurement system with stakeholders, including reviewing tenders, evaluating submissions and ensuring proper documentation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices, sourcing strategies and policy requirements. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to organisational policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards. Identify and implement opportunities for procurement process improvement and operational efficiency. Coordinate and facilitate procurement-related training programmes for staff to build awareness and capabilityParticipate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by managementRequirementsMinimum Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in procurement Strong understanding of the procurement process, guidelines, and best practicesExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with procurement software systemsPrior experience in nonprofit or educational settings will be advantageousStrong commitment to supporting the mission of the organization and contributing to special needs communityThe organization is open to hiring candidates with varying levels of experience, from entry-level to senior, and the job title offered with corresponding grade will be determined based on the successful incumbent's relevant work experience and qualifications.BenefitsWe offer a competitive remuneration package and the professional advantages of a dynamic workplace that enables your professional development and values your contributions.We seek your understanding that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Our organisation is committed to protecting our children and young people from harm.
