Position: Senior Executive – Supply ChainCompany: SEMCORP LimitedLocation: Malibagh Chowdhury Para Rd, Dhaka 1219Type: Full-timeEducation: Bachelor’s DegreeExperience: 3 – 5 YearsSalary: NegotiableAbout the JobSEMCORP Limited is looking for a Senior Executive – Supply Chain to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain structure for the organization. The position requires a professional with strong technical, analytical, and coordination skills to support procurement, logistics, and material management across multiple project sites nationwide.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & SourcingIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, machinery, and services.Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate favorable vendor terms.Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company policies.Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor databases.Material Planning & CoordinationCollaborate with project and engineering teams to determine material needs.Ensure timely material delivery to avoid project delays.Track requisitions, approvals, and deliveries using ERP systems.Review material consumption and adjust procurement plans accordingly.Logistics & TransportationCoordinate transportation and logistics for material movement.Optimize freight costs through vendor negotiation and route planning.Ensure proper packaging, documentation, and warehouse coordination.Vendor Management & ComplianceDevelop and maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors.Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.Maintain accurate documentation for all supplier transactions and agreements.Cost Control & ReportingAnalyze procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.Track purchase orders, deliveries, and payments accurately.Prepare regular supply chain performance and cost analysis reports.Coordination & ImprovementCollaborate with project, finance, and quality assurance teams for operational alignment.Participate in review meetings and contribute to process improvements.QualificationsB.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.Preferred: Civil or IPE background for better understanding of construction materials and project logistics.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement within construction or industrial sectors.Strong command over procurement cycles, logistics, and inventory management.Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP-based systems.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.Strong communication and coordination abilities.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: NegotiableFestival Bonus (2 per year)Provident FundMobile Bill AllowanceYearly Salary ReviewCompetitive salary and benefits package as per company policyCareer growth opportunities in a fast-growing construction company
