Learn more at www.ipgmediabrands.com.The OpportunityAs a Senior Finance Executive in the Commercial stream, you will report to the Finance Manager. Your role is to track and manage the client billing lifecycle. You should be comfortable with building trackers, performing job reconciliation and pivoting of data. You will also need to establish a collaborative relationship with the business team to ensure that they are given the necessary financial support on a timely basis.Key responsibilitiesControl of media project and client billing lifecycle.Ensure media plans and cost estimates are signed-off on a timely basis and client purchase orders are received prior to work commencing.Ensure WIP accounts are reconciled and reviewed to ensure timely billing and recovery of costs.Regular meetings with Business teams to ensure media costs are closely monitored, manage billing queries/disputes and status of media plans are updated timely.Ensure timely and accurate billing to clients.Ensure timely payments to vendors.Preparation of monthly reports and balance sheet schedules with commentaries.Ensure compliance with audit, statutory and client requirements.Participate and coordinate the commercial team in statutory, internal and client audits exercises.Streamlining and improving the billings and reconciliation process and identifying areas of performance improvement.Perform revenue recognition and monitor project profitabilityAny other ad hoc duties as assigned.IdeallyPossess minimum Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalentProficient in Microsoft ExcelAble to work independently as well as within a teamNaturally thrive in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical and detail-orientedAble to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge in SAP and Hyperion will be advantageGood team player with good communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in Media Agency or MNCs will be added advantageIPG Mediabrands is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
