Senior Finance Manager

Job FunctionTo provide expertise and advise to support the development of operational implementation plans and associated service delivery processes, methods and techniques and to perform, keep track of and report on the financial transactions of a business unit in accordance with financial policies and regulations, enabling informed management decision making and contributing to client/customer satisfaction, optimal profitability, reduced risk and compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.Key Performance AreasCash Flow Management:Daily review of cash flow.Monthly cashflow planning and analysis.Banking:Management of company banking requirementsManagement of company online banking profilesAuthorisation and review of payments to suppliersDebtors & Revenue:Leading bi-weekly debtor meetings between general managers and finance team.Assist with queries to ensure timely collection of funds.Review of ageing to ensure clean analysis.Attend client meetings to obtain resolution on queries and maintain client relationships.Creditors & Expenses:Release of purchase orders based on company authorisation levels.Review and release of supplier banking details loaded on the banking system.Review and release of payments to suppliers.Review of creditors reconciliation from time by time signed off by the accountants.Month End:Ensure 100% completion of import files for revenue with the payroll departmentEffective and timely month end assistance to all team membersGeneral ledger reconciliations reviewSubmission of monthly Hyperion pack / FCCS to DPW Head OfficeClear validations between intercompany debtors and creditorsSign off journals of team members based on company levels of authorisationSign off credit note listingsBudget & Forecast:Submission of Hyperion/FCCS for budget/forecast pack to DPW Head OfficePreparation of Working capital for budget/forecastTaxation:Monthly preparation and submission of the VAT return to SARSMonthly preparation of the taxation section on Hyperion/FCCSCalculation and reconciliation of final taxation for the financial year endedCalculation and reconciliation of provision taxation payments to DPW Head Office and SARSProjects:Plan, manage and implement new projects in financeManage ERP user access, SOD and BI ReportingQualifications RequiredBachelor's or equivalent 3-year degree in Finance/AccountingPost Graduate Qualification in Finance / Accounting(CA) SA preferredCIMA preferredExperience and Skills Required6-10 years’ experience in finance, reporting and managing teams.Computer literacy.Excellent mathematical skills.About DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
