Senior Financial Accountant

Coopman is partnering with a leading international financial services organisation to hire a qualified Senior Financial Accountant for their Dublin-based AIFM Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing AIFM platform and play a key role in the financial reporting, oversight, and governance of a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds.Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for AIF and fund vehicles under IFRSSupport consolidation and group reporting requirements across multiple AIFM jurisdictionsOversee NAV reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and key financial controls for AIF structuresPartner with risk, portfolio management, and operations teams to deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reportingCoordinate with fund administrators, auditors, depositaries, and other external service providersEnsure compliance with regulatory obligations relevant to AIFMs, including statutory filings and reporting standardsContribute to enhancements in financial reporting, oversight processes, and internal control frameworksRequirements:ACA / ACCA qualified accountant (Big 4 / Top 10 background preferred)3+ years’ PQE in audit or financial reporting for investment funds, AIFMs, asset managers, or administratorsStrong technical understanding of IFRS; exposure to AIF structures, SPVs, or US GAAP is beneficialExperience working with fund administrators or within an AIFM or investment management finance team is a strong advantageProven ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate, high-quality reportingAdvanced Excel capability with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communicator with commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsThis is an excellent opportunity to deepen your experience within the AIFM and alternatives sector, gaining exposure to complex fund structures within a dynamic and expanding organisation.Apply now or contact Aaron.Ryan@Coopman for a confidential discussion.
