Job Purpose:Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic finance environment? The Investment & Development Office of Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and publication of budgets, rating reports, and investment department reports, encompassing both monthly and quarterly financial information. You will ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial data to key stakeholders, including the IDO Board and rating agencies, while collaborating across departments to enhance data collection and reporting processes.Key Responsibilities:BudgetingEnsure the timely and accurate preparation of the Micro Fiscal Balance at the Government of Ras Al Khaimah (GOR) level, as well as the consolidated budget for GOR, SOD, and SOE levels for management review.Coordinate with SODs and SOEs to facilitate the prompt submission of forecast and budget data.Analyze forecast and budget submissions, collaborating with relevant SODs and SOEs to implement necessary amendments.Guarantee the completeness and accuracy of all information collected from SODs and SOEs.Reconcile all related party transactions provided by SODs and SOEs.Accurately eliminate intercompany transactions during budget preparation at the GOR level.Prepare and publish trackers related to the budget cycle.Management ReportingReconcile EBITDA and other financial information as provided by SOEs.Prepare management reports in accordance with stakeholder requirements and address any ad-hoc requests.Prepare, review, and publish summarized monthly and quarterly financial highlights for the Investment Department.Rating ReportsEnsure the timely and accurate preparation of rating reports at GOR, SOD, and SOE levels for review by the Rating Department.Prepare revenue, EBITDA, and net profit reports at GOR, SOD, and SOE levels.Conduct variance analysis and publish findings, including explanations, to the Rating Department at the GOR level.ERP & SystemsCoordinate with the RAKEZ IT Team to validate budget templates within the ERP system.Collaborate with the RAKEZ IT Team to define management reporting formats and templates in ERP.Other ResponsibilitiesIdentify optimal methods for uploading information into SAP to ensure timely access to data.Highlight, initiate, and facilitate the reconciliation of intercompany balances.Professional Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from a recognized professional institution.Years of Experience:Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience as a qualified finance professional within a large conglomerate, private equity, or sovereign wealth fund.In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and their practical application.Proven ability to interpret and manage the accounting implications of complex transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and financial instruments.Experience collaborating across multiple business verticals and geographic locations.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; experience with SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.Additional Requirements:Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, global organizations with international subsidiaries.Strong technical accounting expertise.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive and influence functional requirements.
