Senior Flight Instructor

Role purpose:Senior Flight Instructors are responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences at SEVEN whilst ensuring the highest levels of safety, professionalism, and team performance. In addition to performing all core instructor duties, Senior Instructors provide mentorship, coaching, and operational leadership to ensure standards are maintained and the team continues to develop. The act as role models, ambassadors, and technical experts for both customer and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced InstructionDeliver expert instruction for complex scenarios including nervous first-timers, experienced skydivers, and high-performance coachingExecute demonstration flights showcasing head-down flying, dynamic transitions, and advanced freefly techniquesProvide specialized coaching for competitive flyers and experienced skydiversHandle VIP experiences requiring exceptional discretion and serviceMaintain peak physical condition to meet the demanding nature of advanced instruction including extended flight sessions, complex physical maneuvers, and continuous high-intensity performanceTeam LeadershipMentor and evaluate junior instructors with constructive feedback and skills coachingLead Saudi national instructor training program to develop local talentConduct instructor performance reviews and certification assessmentsFacilitate team workshops on advanced techniques, customer service, and safety protocolsFoster a professional team culture emphasizing collaboration and continuous improvementSafety ManagementOversee all safety operations ensuring compliance with AERODIUM standards and SEVEN protocolsInvestigate incidents and near-misses, developing corrective actions and preventive measuresConduct safety audits of equipment, procedures, and instructor performanceLead emergency response drills and maintain team readinessMonitor guest feedback and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunitiesOperational LeadershipOptimize instructor scheduling to balance workload, skill development, and operational efficiencyCollaborate with facility management on capacity planning and revenue optimizationDevelop and refine standard operating procedures, training curricula, and quality benchmarksCoordinate with maintenance teams on equipment reliability and performanceRepresent the instruction team in management meetings and strategic planningBusiness DevelopmentDevelop specialized programs including corporate team building, athletic training, youth camps, and competitive coachingBuild relationships with Saudi skydiving community, sports federations, and corporate clientsParticipate in promotional events, media appearances, and community outreachProvide expert input on marketing campaigns showcasing facility capabilities
