As an Engineer in an early-stage and high-growth company, you will have a large impact on both technical implementation and help steer our technology roadmap.What You'll Get to Do:Help drive frontend architecture to the next stage of Roof’s systemsWork in a fast-paced cross-functional team that values doing things ‘the right way’Contribute to an early-stage company with engineering first cultureContributing to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to deliveryCollaborating with cross-functional team members to develop technical requirementsWriting clean code to develop functional web applications and reusable librariesWriting unit, functional, and acceptance testsTroubleshooting and supporting production applicationsCompensation Range: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 CADWhat You'll Bring to the Role:3+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title Has 5+ years of software development experienceIs a champion of agile methodologies, and enjoys shipping code often and confidentlyHas a track record of breaking down complex problems as incremental solutionsProactively recommends initiatives to improve our engineering technologies and cultureEnjoys working in a collaborative environment where everyone helps each other growTakes ownership of the product and is proud of the quality of their workHas excellent communication skills, and appreciates the value of good documentationUnderstands the challenges of early-stage company prioritiesStrong experience with Javascript language & React + Redux frameworkExperience with SCSS Experience with interacting with RESTful APIsExperience building frontend testing and automation systems for unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and user acceptance tests🏠 What we offer (US + Canada)When you join our team, you’re not just accepting a job.
