Senior Full-Stack Developer (Kotlin & Java)

📍 Full-time | Remote or Hybrid (only for Romanian residents) | Long-term collaboration | Employment contract onlyWe are looking for a passionate Senior Full-Stack Developer with solid experience in Kotlin (server-oriented, backend) and Java to join our team. You will have the option to work either remotely or in a hybrid setup.Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Kotlin (for backend, server-oriented) and Java.Developing and optimizing user interfaces and frontend components.Participating in defining software architecture and making technical decisions.Optimizing code for performance and scalability.Collaborating closely with QA, DevOps, and Product Management teams.Mentoring less experienced colleagues in the team.Reviewing code and engaging in pair programming to ensure high quality and knowledge sharing.Applying best practices for testing, security, performance, and resilience.Taking full ownership of microservices throughout the entire lifecycle: design, development, deployment, monitoring, and operation.Working closely with designers, architects, testers, and product managers in a fast-paced environment.Actively participating in knowledge-sharing formats such as internal tech events, online training, and external conferences.About youRequired:3+ years of recent software development experience with Kotlin (server-oriented)5+ years of software development experience with JavaExperience with popular frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot/Ktor)Experience with Vue.js 3 and Nuxt 3 / ViteStrong knowledge of microservices-based architecturesKnowledge of programming best practices (SOLID, Design Patterns)Skills in working with relational and NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience working with CI/CD and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)Hands-on experience with Git and automation pipelinesAdvanced English proficiency (written and spoken)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsNice to have:Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and cross-functional teamsExperience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plusFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform (CloudSQL, Pub/Sub, GKE), Terraform, and DevOps practices is a plusInterest or experience in data privacy and software security topics is welcomeAbout eSolutionsWe take pride in being a technologically advanced organisation dedicated to developing integrated, complex, and secure solutions, designed to elevate the underlying business processes of the software we create.
