Senior Full Stack (Node.js & React) Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js to join our dynamic development team focused on an exciting project in the environmental services sector, specializing in carbon finance and sustainability consulting. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly web applications, integrating front-end and back-end components, and ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness of applications.Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Node.js for the backend and TypeScript and React (Next.js) for the frontend; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features; Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices; Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging; Implement and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL to enable seamless data exchange between the frontend and backend; Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience; Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to promote best practices; Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and reliability; Maintain documentation related to application development processes and methodologie; Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on backend technologie (Node.js); Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of front-end frameworks and libraries; Experience with frontend technologies TypeScript and React (Next.js); Experience with backend technologies, including Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL; Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions for collaborative development; Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices; Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; A proactive attitude and a passion for learning new technologies and methodologies.
