The company is also committed to sourcing and placing top talent in roles that meet client needs, fostering long-term success for its partners.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Government Relations Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with government authorities and ensuring all company and client documentation is processed efficiently and in compliance with local regulations. The role oversees visa processing, company formation procedures, licensing, labor and immigration matters, and acts as the primary liaison between the company, clients and government departments.SALARY8000 AED to 10000 AED with other benefits as per UAE labor lawROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESGovernment Liaison• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government authorities.• Maintain strong working relationships with departments such as: Immigration Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization (MOHRE) Economic Departments Free Zone Authorities Municipality and other regulatory bodies.• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure company compliance with government rules and policies.• Visa & Immigration ProcessingManage end-to-end visa processing including: Employment visas Golden visas Investor visas Freelance visas Virtual visas Family visas Visit visas Visa cancellations and amendments.• Ensure timely submission, approvals, and renewals of immigration-related applications.Company Formation & Licensing• Handle company registration, trade license issuance, and renewals.• Coordinate with mainland and free zone authorities for company setup procedures.• Manage amendments such as: Shareholder changes Trade license activity changes Office address updates Company restructuring.Documentation & Compliance• Prepare, submit, and track government documentation.• Ensure accurate record keeping of visas, licenses, permits, and official documents.• Monitor expiration dates and proactively manage renewals.Mentoring the team• Mentor and guide junior PROs or government relations assistants.• Allocate tasks and ensure timely completion of submissions.Client Coordination• Communicate with clients regarding government procedures and documentation requirements.• Provide updates on application status and regulatory changes.Problem Resolution• Resolve government-related issues, delays, or compliance concerns.• Escalate critical matters to management when required.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS• Experienced in visa, passport and other transactions, general knowledge of migration laws.• Experience in other Government Agencies transactions.• Ability to work under pressure against demanding deadlines.• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.• Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a similar role.
