Join Ring's Product Design Team as a Senior Hardware Development (Electrical) Engineer and help shape the future of home security technology.What You'll Do Drive the adaptation of System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms for next-generation Ring devices Lead feasibility studies and architectural decisions for new products Design and integrate electronic subsystems from concept to mass production Leverage AI tools and automation to optimize design workflows and improve productivity Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences Own the development of comprehensive design documentation and test specifications Mentor junior engineers and influence technical direction across teamsBasic Qualifications MS in Electrical Engineering Deep expertise in industrial/commercial electronics design Strong foundation in: processor architectures and digital circuit design; communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S); power electronics (AC-DC/DC-DC); high-speed design and EMI/EMC considerations Proficiency in using AI-powered tools for circuit simulation and problem-solving Proven track record of shipping consumer electronics products Excellence in Altium Designer and Altium 365 Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving prioritiesPreferred Qualifications PhD in Electrical Engineering RF design experience Consumer IoT product development background Experience implementing AI-driven automation in engineering workflowsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
