We deliver comprehensive IT support, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity solutions with a focus on building long-term client relationships through exceptional service delivery.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Technician to join our technical team. This position requires a strong foundation in Windows Server administration, networking infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 security, combined with excellent client communication skills. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support while contributing to infrastructure projects and mentoring junior team members.This is a client-facing role where approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to resolving escalated support tickets and 40% to infrastructure projects. The ability to context-switch between urgent client needs and strategic initiatives is essential.Core ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Problem ResolutionDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues across Windows Server, networking, and Microsoft 365 environmentsProvide escalation support for challenging tickets that require advanced troubleshootingRespond to critical client incidents with appropriate urgency and professionalismDocument resolutions and contribute to the company knowledge baseInfrastructure ManagementDesign and implement networking solutions including site-to-site VPNs, VLANs, and routing configurationsManage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Azure AD ConnectAdminister Microsoft 365 security posture and Intune device managementLead infrastructure upgrade and optimization projectsPerform capacity planning and system health monitoringClient Relationship ManagementCommunicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersBuild and maintain positive relationships with client contactsProvide technical guidance and recommendations aligned with client business objectivesParticipate in client meetings and project planning sessionsTeam CollaborationMentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians through complex technical challengesShare knowledge and best practices with the technical teamCollaborate on problem-solving and continuous improvement initiativesContribute to internal training and documentation effortsRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills5+ years of hands-on IT experience in a support or infrastructure roleAdvanced proficiency with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)Strong networking knowledge including VLANs, VPNs, routing, and network troubleshootingDemonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, security configuration, and Intune device managementExperience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid identity managementSolid understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity principlesProfessional SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesSystematic approach to troubleshooting and problem resolutionStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesClient service orientation with professional demeanorTeam-oriented mindset with willingness to share knowledgeAdaptability and comfort with changing prioritiesPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a managed service provider environmentMicrosoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, or Windows Server focus)CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking certificationExperience with RMM platforms and PSA ticketing systemsFamiliarity with Ubiquiti networking equipmentKnowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)Work EnvironmentLocation: In-office position in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
