Job Description

As a Senior Injection Molding Engineer (Validation), you will:Take ownership of mold, material and process validationSupport process changes and transfer to mass productionEnsure stable, high-quality injection molding performance that meets medical device requirementsYou will work closely with Production, QA, SCM and other engineering functions, and report to a senior leader in Manufacturing Engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute validation activities for new molds, new materials, new products and process changes, including ramp-up to mass production.Define, optimize and monitor injection molding parameters to ensure stable quality, dimensional accuracy, good surface appearance and high yield.Support troubleshooting and handling of nonconformities (NCMR) using structured root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions.Prepare and maintain technical and validation documents, such as work instructions, check sheets, record templates, validation protocols and reports, and basic engineering drawings.Coordinate with Production, QA, SCM and related teams to ensure all changes comply with internal quality systems and relevant regulations (e.g. ISO 13485).Use data and basic statistical tools to improve process capability, yield, capacity and cost.Share know-how, provide technical guidance and support continuous improvement within the molding team.Give regular updates on project status and report progress to management.Qualifications & Desired ProfileEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Polymer, Mechanical, Industrial, Tool & Die, or related discipline).3–5+ years’ experience in injection molding in a manufacturing environment.Practical experience in medical device manufacturing under ISO 13485 (strongly preferred), especially in injection molding validation, mold / process transfer to mass production, and process / yield improvement.Technical & Soft SkillsGood understanding of injection molding machine principles, processing methods and safety.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical files, and to set/adjust molding conditions according to resin properties.Able to identify molding defects, analyse root causes and propose practical solutions.Able to prepare clear technical and production documents (work instructions, checklists, records, basic drawings, reports).Comfortable using numbers and basic statistics for decision-making and problem solving.Good command of English, both written and spoken.Strong communication, coordination and teamwork skills, with a proactive and result-oriented mindset.Working ConditionsWorking days: Monday – Friday, regular daytime working hours, based in Lamphun
