In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, support, and capacity planning of a cost-optimized, high-performance, secure and highly reliable IP network, aligned with EPIC’s strategic goals.As a Senior Engineer, you will take an active role in leading and executing key network initiatives and projects—IP RAN, FTTH, EVPN-VXLAN, IPv6, Network Automation, and more—leveraging the latest cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and performance.This is an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise, influence network strategy, and work on projects that shape the future of telecommunications.Your Responsibilities:Lead the design, deployment, support, and capacity planning of Layer-2 and Layer-3 network infrastructure across EPIC’s environment, including the ISP backbone, mobile core, FTTH, and enterprise network.Provide expert-level support to internal teams and external corporate clients, ensuring high availability and performance across all services.Collaborate with the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams during presales engagements, providing technical leadership in designing and delivering customized network and security solutions for enterprise customers.Design, deploy and dimension the intra- and inter-connectivity with other elements of the networkRepresent the Network Engineering team in cross-functional technical meetings, driving alignment and knowledge sharing across departments.Evaluate, select, and manage the procurement of network hardware, software, and system upgrades for IP infrastructure and Network Management Systems (NMS).Deliver detailed performance analytics and optimization reports, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement.Conduct impact analysis of configuration changes to maintain network stability and performance.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to the strategic evolution of the IP technologiesMaintain comprehensive documentation of network topologies, configurations, and enterprise solutions to ensure operational continuity.Participate in the senior-level on-call rotation, providing leadership during critical incident response and resolution.Our proposition:Competitive remuneration packageAnnual bonus scheme13th salaryAttractive benefits with comprehensive medical and life insurances and provident fundCompany telecom products with free mobile and internet lines and exclusive discounts for our services with maximum monthly total value of 130 eurosOpportunity for a sustainable career and continuously building skills and expertise in a dynamic technology sectorHybrid workplace modelYour Profile:Postgraduate degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, preferably with a specialization either in Network Security, Telecommunications or Networking.Solid hands-on experience with both legacy Layer-2 Ethernet technologies and modern EVPN-VXLAN-based architectures.Strong knowledge and experience in IP/MPLS architectures and protocols such as BGP, RSVP, LDP, OSPF, IS-IS, L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS, Segment Routing, Circuit Emulation, QoS/CoS, Traffic Engineering, and IPv6.Experience with Dynamic Subscriber Management, RADIUS protocol, PPPoE, and DHCP.Understanding of Mobile Network architectures and FTTH communication flows.Familiarity with FTTH CPE management (TR-069) and CPE testing procedures.Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across multiple layers and technologies.Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems is an advantage.Experience with Network Automation is a plusExperience with Network Monitoring Systems, SNMP agents, and statistical monitoring/analysis tools.Professional qualities including a strong work ethic, attention to detail, punctuality, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Capable of delivering clear, concise technical presentations to both technical teams and management.Able to work independently and collaboratively, with minimal supervision.Fluent in English.Interested to join a team of passionate professionals?
