We stay true to our values of designing spaces that respect, protect, and enhance the natural magic of their surroundings while delivering long-term value for our clients and their communities.WATG is hiring a Senior Landscape Designer for our Singapore office.ROLEThe Senior Landscape Designer works on the development of project concept design, site plans, specifications, production of presentation drawings, and sketches. The Senior Landscape Designer finds design solutions for a variety of project types from hotel and resort destinations, residential multi-family communities, urban and mixed-use development, and large-scale master planning developments.ResponsibilitiesDesigns landscape architectural projects while developing progressive solutions to design challengesConfers directly with senior leadership in the development of design concepts and project implementation to respond to the design intent, schedule, and budgetPrepares, develops, modifies, and reviews the production of drawings and models, according to established standardsPrepares site plans to include grading, hardscape, water feature, and planting design, stormwater management systems design, landscapingMay have input into erosion control plans and sediment control designDevelops and coordinates diagrams, renderings, and conceptual graphics with members of the project teamParticipates, and may direct project planning and design, including due diligence studies, concept plans, site and landscape plans, and the production of design computationsCompletes design sketches, presentation drawings, diagrams, schedules, and other computer-generated or hand-drawn project documentsContributes to layout studies and yield studiesProvides specialized technical assistance with particular landscape building types, components, materials, elements, or building codesMay conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permittingProvides QA/QC on plans and specifications, developing solutions to technical problems in the landscape architectural plans and drawingsMay provide various pre-design services, including feasibility and environmental impact studies, site selection, or other design requirementsMay oversee a small team in project requirements and objectives, schedules, and budgetsMay coordinate client presentationsFosters a commitment to external and internal client servicesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture4+ years of experience in landscape architecture and/or site designEnvironmental accreditation preferredProficient technical knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Illustrator, and AutoCAD; Revit and Rhino experience preferredStrong freehand illustration and rendering skills, visualization, and digital graphic skillsEffective communication skills in verbal presentation, written narrative, and graphic representationAbility to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines consistentlyWorks well in a team environmentPlease include a copy of your resume and portfolio to be considered for this position.WATG is an Equal Opportunity Employer
