Senior Legal Counsel, Global Markets, MNC Bank

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with strong experience in derivatives and structured products to join a leading global financial institution. This is a high-impact role supporting complex markets across multiple jurisdictions. The position is based in Singapore, though candidates in Dubai or London will also be considered.You’ll be advising on a broad range of derivatives and structured products matters, navigating multi-market regulatory regimes, and supporting transactional work spanning financial instruments, cross-border issues, and market infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal support on derivatives and structured products matters, including ISDA/CSA documentation and related transactional workAdvise the business on financial markets regulationsNavigate cross-border issues such as margining requirements and netting recognitionOffer commercial, risk-based advice to stakeholders in fast-moving market situationsExperience that would be highly desirable:Repo and securities lending transactions (GMRA/GMSLA)Prime brokerage arrangementsStructured notes / MTN programmesSecuritisation and related capital markets structuresRequirementsMinimum 5+ PQE with strong grounding in derivatives and/or structured productsBroad exposure to transactional and advisory work in financial marketsExperience gained in an in-house markets team or via secondment to a financial institution is a strong advantageExcellent understanding of trading models, settlement cycles, collateral arrangements, and market infrastructureStrong judgment, decisiveness, and the ability to manage complex issues under time pressureThis is an outstanding opportunity for a derivatives/structured products lawyer seeking exposure to high-value transactions in a global financial markets environment.
