About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proven track record in Australian mortgage processing, and the ability to mentor junior team members while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction.You will play a key role in managing loan pipelines, leading process improvements, and upholding our vision of delivering timely, accurate, and client-focused financial services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a growing team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Loan Processor, your responsibility is to support the end-to-end mortgage application process by assisting clients, managing documentation, liaising with brokers and lenders, andensuring compliance with credit, product, and regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilitiesinclude:1. Loan Application Processing: Assist client in completing mortgage applications accuratelyand efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and verified.2. Broker Support: Collaborate with brokers to provide any additional information ordocumentation required for loan approval and address any issues that may arise during theapplication and approval process.3. Documentation Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all clientinformation, loan applications, and related documentation, ensuring compliance withregulatory requirements.4. Loan product Knowledge: Stay informed about various mortgage products, interest rates,and lending guidelines to provide clients with accurate information and guidance in selectingthe most suitable loan options.5. Pricing and Valuations: Ability to complete a new or amend an existing pricing request andorder different types of valuations with a variety of lenders via CoreLogic or their portals.6. Compliance Adherence: Ensure all mortgage-related activities comply with relevantregulations, policies and procedures, including those set forth by regulatory authorities suchAPRA and ASIC.7. Credit Activities: Complete credit training, liaise with bank BDMs on scenarios, study lendercredit policies, complete serviceability calculators, and assess client lending options to guidebroker recommendations.8. Ethical Conduct: Adhere to the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity in allinteractions and interactions, maintaining confidentiality and acting in the best interest ofclients and the organization at all times.RequirementsExperience: 4–5 years of experience in the Australian mortgage industry, with proven leadership exposure.Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a proactive mindset.Knowledge: Solid understanding of mortgage processing workflows, compliance, and client service expectations.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and support junior team members.Technology: Proficiency in CRM systems and relevant processing tools (advantage)Work Approach: Professional, adaptable, and solutions-focused.BenefitsCompetitive base salary (starts at 130k )Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and collaborative work cultureOngoing professional training and developmentIt’s your birthday – why not have the day off?
