Senior Logistics Specialist

Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in import logistics within an industrial or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inbound logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and goods.Responsibilities: • Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments from international suppliers. • Ensure compliance with import regulations and documentation requirements. • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders. • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues. • Optimize logistics costs while maintaining service quality. • Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs clearance, and delivery timelines. • Collaborate with planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow. • Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain processes.Requirements: • BSc degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on import operations. • Experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and Incoterms. • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and negotiation abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Interested candidates can apply or send their CV with the subject "Senior Logistics Specialist" to tamer.saleh@iskraemeco.com
