Senior Manager Finance Transformation (m/f/d) - Spain

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.Within our Operations team, we are looking to hire a team member with a successful track record in Finance with a continuous improvement attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be located at portfolio companies, on-site across Europe.Your TasksManage the restructuring and improvement processes for our portfolio companies on-site to implement and improve sound cash management processes on-sitePartner closely with the Mutares restructuring team by conducting financial analyses, developing and integrating financial models, and critically evaluating business casesPrepare and execute financing solutions (factoring, asset-based funding, credit lines)Improve financial statement closing and other finance/controlling processes and assist in the preparation of financial statements and auditManage the relationship with external stakeholders (auditors, financial advisers, banks, credit insurers, etc.)Your Profile Successfully completed a Finance degree or similar with outstanding results At least 6 years of experience in a Big4/Management Consulting firm (preferably restructuring focused) or Controlling/Finance department of an industry firm (preferably with exposure to restructuring situation) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Business fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment What Mutares OffersWork in a highly motivated, international, committed, and agile team that enjoys working togetherExciting work environment with varied challenges, strategic influence, and tasks for continuous personal and professional developmentFlat hierarchies, fast decision-making processes, and room for your own ideasRegular team events and offsites
