With more than 130 combined years of experience and thousands of happy and satisfied alumni – KLG is a reliable and respected leader in the language travel industry.KLG offers a wide range of language and cultural programs in more than 100 countries across the world, allowing students to embark on a unique, life-changing journey specifically tailored to them.Job DescriptionPosition Summary This pivotal Finance Partnering role is based in Barcelona and will be assisting the performance of the Languages Schools, as well as part giving support to the review and forecasting of the Company’s sales.Reporting to the Senior FP&A manager, you will provide support to Sales, Operations and Schools functionsQualificationsMain responsibilities and functionsManage invoicing, from issuing invoices to tracking payments and resolving discrepancies, ensuring timely billing and accurate records. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring all accounts are reconciled on time and compliant with accounting standards. Tracking and proposing of accruals before and during the closings, and analysing the variances vs actual amounts. Analyze variations in profit and loss statement, and key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the sector. Give support to annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts. Report on missing invoices, identifying and resolving discrepancies for accurate financial data, and calculatin the necessary accruals and provisions. Qualifications And ExperienceMin 2 years of experience in controlling, accounting and/or budgeting and forecasting. Experience in a data-rich analytical role involving complex Excel models, including both regular reporting packs and project-orientated deep-dives. Attention to detail and ability to investigate problem areas with an inquisitive mindSkills And CompetenciesHigh level of initiative, self-motivation, and driveAdvanced Excel knowledge is essential. Spanish and English is a must.
