Bring your exceptional leadership skills into play and become a part of a world-class design force that creates new LEGO bricks for build and play experiences for people around the globe!Core ResponsibilitiesThe System & Material Governance is a department where the key focus is to champion the LEGO building system (DUPLO, LEGO and Technic), and govern the architecture of the platforms and systems, to develop, maintain and optimize the compatibility and values of the LEGO elements. This area is core to innovating and protecting the System-in-play philosophy.As a people leader in the department, your core responsibilities will beLead productive team meetings to share updates, strategies, and goals, promoting teamwork.Conduct regular 1 1 meetings to support team growth with coaching, feedback, and active listening.Balance support for the LEGO Group direction with people-focused approaches.Develop understanding of portfolio experiences, development processes, and results.Optimize processes and tools to enhance organizational efficiency.Lead by example in diversity and inclusion, fostering collaboration and trust.Play your part in our team succeedingSystem & Material Governance is a part of LEGO® Design organization that consist of a dynamic, creative and collaborative culture. As our new Senior Manager, you will build capabilities and talents in a caring, fun, and creative way, through solid cooperation and communication with key partners across the organization. In a culture where creativity and quality are key, you will lead Design Engineers/Element Coaches in System & Material Governance.Do you have what it takes?While this role is focused on people leadership rather than creative leadership, the ideal candidate holds an educational background or equivalent experience in a Product development area (Design, Engineering) or a related field. This foundation enables strong understanding and guidance of our Design Engineers/Element Coaches and their work. The paths you've taken may vary, yet the key factor lies in your commitment to guiding, cultivating and enabling people. It is advantageous if you bring substantial experience in leading teams within diverse and agile organizations, running people processes and functional responsibilities across different areas.Additionally, we anticipate that youDemonstrate a collaborative approach and efficiency in management at all levels.Strong visual and illustrative communications skills.Demonstrate a willingness to grow and improve your own leadership abilities.Take initiative and ownership when driving solutions.Hold proficiency level in English (spoken & written).Build your career brick by brick at the LEGO Group.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
