The Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (TPM) will play a critical role for the Venue Technology & Operations team, leading large-scale initiatives and driving complex projects from strategy through execution across Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball. This role goes beyond coordination—you will own the delivery of high-impact programs, manage contracts and resources, and ensure seamless execution across multiple stakeholders. Working in an agile environment with world-class engineering and operations teams, you will help deliver innovative fan and venue experiences. The Senior Manager will keep initiatives on track, align cross-functional teams, and clearly communicate progress, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects concurrently, overseeing lifecycles from research through implementation, utilizing the end-to-end project management framework defined by the Technology Strategy & Operations (TSO) OrganizationCollaborate with Venue Technology and cross-functional leads to define scope, gather requirements, and establish schedulesPartner with Business Operations on project budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice managementCoordinate project communications, ensuring clear updates to internal and external stakeholdersPrepare weekly executive reports with key performance indicators and issue trackingTrack and manage dependencies across projects, working closely with other TPMs across verticalsAssign and manage tasks using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Google Workspace, ServiceNow)Facilitate internal approvals and agreements with Legal, Finance, vendors, and other stakeholdersCollaborate with Ballpark Technology, Technical Facilities and Technical Solutions teams on site surveys, equipment locations, cabling, and infrastructure needsWork with subcontractors and vendors on purchasing, installation, and support of equipmentPartner with on-site technical teams to finalize punch list itemsFoster collaboration across departments to align operations with business priorities and outcomesEnsure effective communication across teams, adapting messaging for technical and non-technical audiences, including executivesIdentify, analyze, and communicate project risks following the risk register format defined by TSOEstablish team velocity, release cycles, and key performance indicatorsExecute and maintain agile workflows (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), including defining activities, dependencies, work effort, and resource requirementsAs a Senior Manager, TPM, mentor other TPMs and Project Coordinators in the TSO Project FrameworkQualifications & Skills5–10 years of experience in facilities operations, broadcast engineering/production, streaming engineering, or related fields5-10 years of experience in a role with significant program management or multi-project management exposureFamiliarity with modern broadcast standards and technologiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExceptional communication skills for engaging with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsProven experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban project management methodologiesDemonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goalsStrong delegation and leadership skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesWillingness to travel occasionally, including evenings and weekends as requiredSalary Range: $165,000 - $200,000 (Base Salary) + BonusAs a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
