Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re Hiring: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Firefighting Robots (Dubai, UAE)FFBots, A leading UAE robotics manufacturer, is expanding its engineering team to build the next generation of advanced firefighting robots.We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in robotics, military vehicles, industrial machinery, or heavy-duty mechanical systems to join our R&D and production team.🔍 Key ResponsibilitiesLead the mechanical design and development of our robotic platforms.Design structural components, chassis systems, drive systems, gearboxes, cooling systems, and water-handling components.Analyze loads, torque, heat, and stress for extreme firefighting environments Perform 3D CAD modeling and prepare manufacturing drawings.Work closely with electrical and software teams to integrate motors, sensors, water monitors , tracks, and control systems.Support prototype fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.Evaluate materials, suppliers, and fabrication techniques (welding, laser cutting, bending, machining, coating, etc.).Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.🎓 RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.7+ years experience in mechanical design of robotics, military Vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, defense systems, or industrial vehicles.Excellent proficiency in inventor or SolidWorks , and mechanical calculations (torque, gear ratio, load, thermal, stress).Experience with tracked robots, electric motors, gearboxes, or mobile robotics systems is a big advantage.Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-production.Ability to work in fast-paced R&D and production environment.Strong problem-solving skills and passion for innovation.💼 What We OfferOpportunity to work on high-impact robotics projects for firefighting and emergency response.Competitive salary package.Supportive and innovative engineering environment.Career growth within one of the fastest-growing robotics companies in the region.📩 How to ApplySend your CV + portfolio including your previous work experience and projects you successfully delivered to: HR@FFBots.com
