The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mine design, operations, and project management, with a focus on safety and sustainability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee mine planning and operationsEnsure efficient and safe mining practicesOwn and oversee Mine schedule and pit design Key Liaison with mine contractorsManage technical teams and project milestonesMonthly, Quarterly and Annual Mine ReportingDrive innovation in mining processesQualificationsDegree in Mining Engineering (or related field)10+ years’ experience in mining engineering, with expertise in gold and copper projectsStrong leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and communication skillsExceptional mining software skills for mine schedule, design and optimisation, preferably in Deswik. English language proficiency required (will work with an international expat team, so strong proficiency in English is essential for clear communication, collaboration and reporting.
