Senior .Net Engineer Permanent Dublin City CentreHybrid (3 days per week onsite) We’re looking for a Senior .Net Developer with 8+ years’ experience in software engineering, ideally in financial services with some Python and AI experince, to join a well established and growing team of high level software engineers.You will help shape innovative tools that drive smarter investment decisions and operational efficiency across the business, while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where technology and finance meet. Join a high-performing technology team within a leading global investment firm, where you’ll play a key role in designing and building scalable applications that directly support trading, research, risk, and operational functions.What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and deliver robust software solutions used across multiple business lines.Take ownership of projects through all stages of the software development lifecycle—from requirements and design to implementation and production support.Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and maintainable, contributing to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis for lasting solutions.What We’re Looking For8+ years’ experience in software engineering, ideally in financial services.Expert in C# and the .NET framework.Proficient in service-oriented architectures, multi-threading, and event-driven programming.Strong analytical mindset and a comfort working with large data sets.Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and UI experience is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Bonus points for experience with Python, AI / LLMs technologies, or cloud-based platforms.
