To strengthen operational excellence and governance within Altery EU, we are seeking a Senior Operations Manager — a key role that partners closely with the COO to ensure smooth execution of strategic and day-to-day activities across the region.About The RoleThe Senior Operations Manager acts as the COO’s strategic and operational partner, ensuring robust execution of initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability.This role focuses on operational governance, process optimisation, and alignment of Altery EU’s frameworks with group-wide standards and regulatory expectations.You’ll serve as a central coordination point between departments, vendors, and group entities, supporting the COO in maintaining operational resilience and excellence across all EU operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the COO in delivering strategic initiatives, including scalability planning, market expansion, and operational improvement programmes.Manage and maintain operational frameworks, policies, and procedures — ensuring alignment with EBA and local regulatory standards.Lead operational reporting (MI/KPIs) and prepare structured updates for the COO, committees, and board reviews.Oversee outsourcing governance: maintain the outsourcing register, coordinate reviews, manage SLAs and risk assessments, and prepare consolidated reports.Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) testing, and oversee incident management and remediation tracking.Collaborate with IT and Compliance on ICT risk management and ensure readiness for DORA and related regulatory requirements.Drive standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives across teams to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes.Act as an escalation point for operational incidents, ensuring corrective actions are documented and completed effectively.Focus Areas / KPIsSuccessful operational readiness and transition from MVP to full-scale operations.100% completeness and annual review of operational policies and procedures.All critical outsourcing arrangements covered by SLAs and quarterly monitoring.Accurate and timely MI for COO/Board meetings; ≥90% automation of KPI reporting.Full BCP/DR testing coverage across critical services.≥25% reduction in manual steps or turnaround times.No major audit or regulatory findings related to operations.What You BringStrong knowledge of Altery’s (or similar FinTech’s) operational landscape, processes, and systems.Proven experience managing operational frameworks or governance functions.Understanding of EBA Guidelines, DORA, PSD3, and internal governance requirements.Skilled in process documentation, KPI/MI creation, and operational data interpretation.Analytical mindset with a structured, disciplined, and proactive approach to execution.Confident Jira user; comfortable working cross-functionally with Compliance, IT, and Risk.Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to operate independently.Fluent in English (written and verbal).What You’ll Get From UsA pivotal role in shaping Altery EU’s operational governance and efficiency.Competitive compensation package.Hybrid working model with flexibility for remote collaboration within the EU.Direct collaboration with senior leadership and international teams.Professional growth opportunities within a mission-driven FinTech group.A dynamic, innovative, and supportive work culture.
