You will work closely with leaders, manage complex workforce requirements, and help shape the way we support our people.About The RoleReporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will take the lead in coordinating key HR functions while ensuring a high level of compliance, accuracy, and service delivery. This is a senior coordination role with scope to influence process improvements, guide managers on HR requirements, and ensure our workforce remains supported and well-governed.You'll play a crucial part in maintaining HR systems, managing lifecycle processes, supporting investigations and ER matters, and strengthening our compliance framework. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to step into a more senior, accountable space.Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the central HR mailbox and JIRA ticketing system, ensuring high-quality and timely responses. Support managers with first-level guidance across HR policy, onboarding, compliance, and employee lifecycle matters.Compliance and Governance Oversee credential and screening requirements (police checks, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, vaccinations) and ensure robust compliance tracking. Prepare documentation for audits and ensure personnel files meet regulatory standards. Maintain compliance dashboards and escalate risks proactively.Employee Lifecycle Management Prepare contracts, variations, and other documentation with a high level of accuracy. Coordinate smooth onboarding, probation tracking, and offboarding processes. Support HR reporting and data integrity across all systems.Employee Relations and Advisory Support Assist in low-level ER matters, investigations and gathering documentation. Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation and award application within your scope.Process Improvement and Projects Identify gaps in HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support People and Culture projects including policy updates, engagement activities, workforce initiatives, and offshore collaboration. Help streamline systems, templates, and workflows for efficiency.Systems and Data Management Maintain Employment Hero, Workforce Management platforms (e.g., TLW) and digital records. Ensure audit-ready personnel files and accurate document management.What You Bring Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or related field At least 3 years experience in HR coordination or People & Culture support with increased responsibility Strong understanding of Australian workplace legislation and HR governance Experience with SCHADS Award, Nurses Award, or similar highly regarded Strong critical thinking, judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision Skilled in managing competing priorities, high-volume environments, and complex compliance requirements Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills Healthcare, aged care or disability sector experience strongly preferredAdditional InformationFull-time, 38 hours per weekBased in Ashfield with flexible work optionsFour days in office initially for your first six monthsImmediate start availableHealthcare, Aged Care Or Disability Experience Highly PreferredCommitment required over the Christmas shutdown and first six monthsReady to Apply?If you're proactive, confident in HR coordination and ready to step into a senior role where you can make real operational impact, we would love to hear from you.Apply now with your CV and cover letter.Join Lumia Care and support the people who care for others.
