You address complex issues and translate them into smart, sustainable solutions. Whether it involves designing, optimizing, or expanding treatment plants, you understand processes, implement improvements, and inspire clients with your vision.You work in multidisciplinary teams, switch effortlessly between disciplines, and contribute to projects with national and international impact. You are not only an expert but also a strategic advisor and mentor for junior colleagues.Projects you can contribute to• Renovation and expansion of WWTPs and AWTPs for water boards and industry• Feasibility studies and design processes for wastewater treatment plants worldwide• Optimization of industrial water treatment plants for greater reliability and sustainabilityWhat will you be doing?• Design and advise on wastewater treatment plants with a focus on circularity• Work on innovative solutions such as resource and energy recovery• Build bridges between disciplines such as civil engineering, automation, and environmental technology• Coordinating projects, developing action plans, and advising clients on-site• Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues in their developmentWhere will you end up?You'll join the Water Optimization team within the Water & Climate Adaptation advisory group. Together, they work on urgent water challenges such as climate adaptation, clean drinking water, and closing the loop. Your location? They'll tailor it to your location – flexibility is paramount.What do you bring to the table?• A completed higher professional or university degree in water, environmental, chemical, or biotechnology• At least 5 years of experience in the wastewater sector• In-depth knowledge of water and residual flow treatment• An innovative, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset• Excellent command of Dutch and a good command of English
