The OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to commence in the new year and play a pivotal role in a significant initiative. Offered as a fixed-term contract through to June 2026 (initially 3–6 months), the role will focus on structuring and facilitating procurement processes on behalf of a local council.You’ll be responsible for shaping the market engagement strategy, driving procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with council frameworks. A key part of the role will involve supporting the procurement of Business Case documentation via VendorPanel, working closely with stakeholders to deliver outcomes that align with project objectives.The role offers flexibility around the hours and days you work - making this an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives on autonomy and impact.About YouYou’re a self-sufficient and motivated procurement specialist with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects. You understand the nuances of local council procurement and have the confidence to structure, approach, and facilitate complex processes.
