Our client is a leading pharmaceutical distribution company with operations in Türkiye (Istanbul & Ankara), Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. The company manages an extensive product portfolio of over 6,000 medical and pharmaceutical items, supplying healthcare institutions, pharmacies, and hospitals with the highest quality products and services.We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist with a strong background in medical and pharmaceutical purchasing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and availability across multiple international locations. This position requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and execute the procurement of pharmaceutical and medical products across multiple categories (6,000+ SKUs).Identify and negotiate with local and international suppliers, ensuring the best terms of price, quality, and delivery.Conduct supplier evaluations, establish long-term partnerships, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and collaborate closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment.Support procurement needs for international branches (Ankara, Switzerland, UAE) through coordinated purchasing strategies.Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost optimization.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and local pharmaceutical regulations.Prepare and present regular procurement reports to management.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical procurement is required.Proven experience managing high-volume and multi-category purchasing portfolios.Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, suppliers, and regulatory requirements.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Fluency in English is mandatory.Strong MS Office and ERP system knowledge (SAP or similar).Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate within an international organization.What We OfferCompetitive compensation package.Opportunity to work in a multi-country, fast-growing pharmaceutical organization.Dynamic and collaborative work environment with international exposure.
