Senior Program Manager – Space Systems DevelopmentLocation: Austin, TXOur client is pioneering the development of advanced space communication systems and modules. They are seeking a Senior Program Manager with strong experience leading programs from development through to production and delivery.The Role:Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of space-focused hardware modules and communication payloads.Manage program budgets ($5M–$25M) and ensure successful delivery to government and commercial customers.Oversee suppliers, inspectors, and production teams to ensure quality hardware builds.Serve as the key customer interface, managing expectations and requirements.Support full lifecycle development, including communications payloads, antennas, and integrated space hardware.What We’re Looking For:15+ years’ experience in program management.Background in space systems and government contracting (approx. 75% space, 25% government).Strong technical understanding of space modules and communications payloads.Proven track record managing $5M–$25M programs.Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.This is a chance to lead high-impact programs that shape the future of space communications.
