San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pmStatus: Full-time/Exempt/ManagementBenefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 403(b) Retirement plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), etc.Openings: 1Job Description Summary:Full Service Partnership is a specialized mental health program that provides wraparound and individualized field-based services to individuals with complex needs, including serious mental illness, chronic health issues, substance use disorders and homelessness.The Senior Program Manager will oversee the FSP program in collaboration with the Director and the rest of the leadership team. The Senior Program Manager will monitor and ensure that FSP provides high-quality services that meet or exceed required contract, funder, and agency standards. The Senior Program Manager will provide administrative supervision to a team of clinicians and case managers, and will be responsible for providing services to a small caseload of their own. This position is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of operations while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and programs. The Senior Program Manager will supervise clinical interns at the program.Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In collaboration with supervisor, monitor all administrative aspects of agency’s Department of Mental Health (DMH) contracted FSP program and contract, including billing and contract maximization in compliance with contract goals and outcomes in a timely manner.Complete required reporting to funders as outlined by contract requirements.Ensure all clinical and mental health staff documentation and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and electronic databases.Provide individual and team supervision, support, and performance evaluations for all assigned staff.Assist in recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff.Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure proper staff orientation, training and audit preparedness for all clinical and mental health contracts.Maintain a current, thorough knowledge of community resources and utilize these to provide services to clients.Effectively represent agency at funding partner or collaborative meetings.Maintain a caseload of 5-10 clients, or more when needed to provide staffing coverage.Collaborate and coordinate care with internal and external providers in support of clients’ treatment goals including but not limited to referring parties, housing, interim housing, medical and other providers.Provide crisis management via risk assessment and initiating 5150 involuntary psychiatric holds as needed.Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours coverage for psychiatric emergencies, including 5150 involuntary psychiatric holds.Participate in the supervision of student interns in collaboration with Director of Internship Training as an assigned Field Instructor.Participate in special projects as assigned by Director.Job Description Qualifications:Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Counselling, Psychology, or a related field and valid registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.Must have at least 1000 clinical hours accrued towards licensureLPS Designated to participate in crisis management to initiate 5150 involuntary psychiatric holdsAt least 6 months of experience providing clinical and administrative supervision; minimum two years preferredOutstanding clinical review skillsStrong training, project management, and team-building skillsAble to behave with sensitivity, tact, politeness and responsiveness with staff and clientsDetail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and computer skillsKnowledge of trauma informed services, housing first and harm reduction methodologies.Experience working with people living with serious mental illness and/or substance use disordersContract and quality assurance experienceCurrent, valid CA Driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle with auto insurance, and willingness to transport clients in personal vehicleJob Description Preferred Qualifications:Current BBS licensure2 years of experience providing clinical and administrative supervisionJob Description Work Environment:Combination of field and office environmentRegularly required to sit, stand, bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs.On occasion walk or drive to different local sitesWill necessitate working in busy and loud environmentsWill be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odorMay need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the dayEXPECTED BEHAVIORS OF ALL STAFFAct as a role modelDemonstrate a sense of responsibilityContinuously learn and improve Acknowledge your own areas of improvementHear and provide honest, specific and direct feedbackCreate an environment where everyone is welcomed valued and respected CollaborateEqual Opportunity Employer The People Concern is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to non-discrimination in employment.
