Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.An exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated Senior Program Officer to fill a PSO Level 6 position for immediate commencement.Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced applicant to the Senior Program Officer role within the HSP Liaison and Assurance team, Health Infrastructure Directorate.The Senior Program Officer is responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting, monitoring and analysis of non-major infrastructure projects within WA Health’s Asset Investment Program. The Senior Program Officer supports the assurance of the infrastructure projects across the system through engagement with Health Service Providers, development of project advice through the lens of system risk, health service operation and delivery, and undertaking monitoring and qualitative critical analysis of project deliverables.Ideal candidates for this role will have strong skills in program management and well-developed interpersonal skills to support effective liaison and negotiation with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels.About the Team: HSP Liaison & Assurance team ensures continued consistent project assurance and monitoring of WA Health’s non-major infrastructure projects, whilst prioritising transparent communication channels and collaborative engagement strategies.The HSP Liaison & Assurance team is situated within the Project Delivery Stream of the Health Infrastructure Directorate, responsible for consolidating all system-wide programs and projects (e.g., medical equipment and minor works) with the priority projects delivered by the Department of Health, as well as providing project oversight to Health Service Provider (HSP)-delivered projects.The broader Health Infrastructure Directorates provides strengthened project governance to ensure the Department retains appropriate oversight of health infrastructure projects and active partnerships and engagement with health service providers (HSPs), as well as delivery agencies such as the Departments of Housing and Works, Treasury & Finance, and Transport and Major Infrastructure.We care about you!Employee Benefits: In addition to the great salary our employees enjoy an amazing range of benefits which may include (in line with operational requirements):12% employer contributed superannuation into a fund of your choice.
