You will be in a broad role where you would work with the customer to make engineering adjustments to the EH2 product to meet the customer's their Hydrogen generation project requirements. You will ensure the successful integration of the EH2 product into the Customer Project.You will report into the Staff Project Engineer and will be based in Spain or Germany. You will travel to customer sites in Europe. You will partner with the project execution team and contracts management team to guarantee a successful project.Primary ResponsibilitiesEngage with customer's project team and engineering consultant in development of the project.Review contractual and engineering documentation related to customer projects Ensure positive customer experience through all phases of the projectFacilitate project-specific HAZOP/LOPA/HSE analysis with Electric Hydrogen customersUnderstand the Electrolysis Plant Product design documentation and coordinate with home office and apply the requirements to customer projects.Appoint and engage with local engineering companies as required.Responsible for successful implementation of procurement and installation contracts – Develop work packages for procurement, engineering services and installation contracts.Maintains communication with SME's home office.Provide important inputs in developing execution plans and schedules.Assure implementation and compliance with applicable codes, policies, performance standards, and specifications.Review Product Documentation and applying product requirements to customer projectsDraft, prepare, and issue documentation, from vendors and EH2 SMEs and maintain project documentation folders.Provide support, and assistance to customer projects from the procurement through the construction phase of projectsReview documentation related to new customer projects, including technical documentation, drawings, schematics, site layouts, and design reviewsQualificationsMinimum Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree8 + years of Project Engineering experienceDemonstrated project execution and engineering experience in either the hydrogen, low carbon fuels, renewable space, chemical processing, Oil & Gas industries; this includes an understanding of interconnection, engineering, procurement, pre-construction, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and O&M phases of a projectExperience interfacing with customersUnderstanding of EU directives, codes, and standardsExperience in a leadership rolePreference for language fluency in Spanish (or German)Preference for experience executing projects in Spain or Portugal (or Germany)Ability to travel, up to 50% of the time.Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
