Soho House & Co. – BarcelonaJob PurposeAs a Waiter/Waitress with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to collaborate with simplicity, kindness and passion.Your main responsibility is to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill..Main DutiesGreet members as they settle down at their table and introducing them to menus.Ensure tables are set up before seating members and offering them water or drinks. Ensure water is topped up throughout their stay.Take members’ orders and deliver them to the kitchen staff for preparation.Confirm food items match the orders and deliver them to the correct table.Correctly open bottles of wine or champagne and pour for members. Ensure glasses are topped up throughout their stay.Provide service and accountability for designated section.Ensure you are asking members about any allergy of dietary requirements.Possess a strong understanding of the food and drink menu in order to make recommendations on pairings and any other specific member requests.Enquire if the members are satisfied with food or drink and asking if they need anything else. Accommodating special requests where possible to creative a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment.Provide members with the bill and processing payment via card or utilising the SHApp and House Pay.RequirementsA successful Waiter/Waitress for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
