Position SummaryThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple complex software projects, ensuring successful implementation of total business solutions on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.This role involves managing large, high-risk, strategic programs requiring strong coordination across multiple functions, business units, geographic regions, and cultures. The Senior Project Manager owns project performance across cost, schedule, scope, revenue forecasting, and business growth objectives.The role also involves building strategic partnerships with senior retail stakeholders, internal executives, vendors, and subcontractors while contributing to long-term account growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Scoping & Pre-SalesDefine project opportunities and objectivesIdentify risks and mitigation strategiesDevelop detailed project plans and budgetsIdentify resource requirementsSupport sales processes and conduct client presentationsIdentify incremental business opportunitiesProject Governance & ExecutionLead complex cross-functional project teamsManage full project lifecycle (initiation to closure)Monitor and control scope, cost, schedule, and resourcesTrack financial performance and revenue forecastsTrigger invoicing milestones aligned with contractual agreementsEnsure proof of delivery for billable activitiesConduct project status reviews and stakeholder communicationsAdminister contracts and support negotiationsFinancial & Operational ManagementManage P&L responsibility (projects up to €10M)Control cost/schedule/resource variancesOversee vendor and subcontractor performanceDrive continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong experience with Agile software delivery and infrastructure project delivery approach, techniques, deliverables and lifecycles.Advanced cross-functional leadership capabilitiesStrong executive communication (written & verbal)Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneouslyStrong command of MS tools (Teams, MS Project or equivalent)Working knowledge of project management information systems or PSA systemsFamiliarity with PM methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, IPMA)Strong change management capabilitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field10+ years of project management experience in Professional Services environmentsProven experience managing medium-to-large complex software implementationsExperience managing project P&L (Profit & Loss) up to €10MAgile experience (mandatory)PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification (preferred)Retail industry experience (Food / Non-Food) preferredLanguages: Native-level Flemish & French + Fluent English
