We have a cohesive and collaborative culture that thrives on having an impact on the local community for the greater good.The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:Relevant Tertiary qualifications (Diploma, Bachelors Certificate or similar) in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications with Project Delivery focusHigh level knowledge and experience in administering construction contracts including risk management, performance management, quality and cost controlPractical experience in delivering Civil based construction projects for a range of clients within NSW.Thorough knowledge of design and construction processes for building and civil engineering projects, commercial contractual arrangements, NSW building industry legislation and codes of practice and relevant policies, practices and procedures, environmental, social, economic and financial matters.Current Class C Drivers LicenceNSW White Card or equivalentExperience in leading, managing and supervising staffExtensive experience in construction and contractor managementHigh level experience in planning, estimating, programming, documenting contract packages in the building/construction disciplinesProven experience in management of project pre-construction processes including feasibility studies, concept development, design and documentationExcellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsProven initiative, problem solving and decision making skillsCapacity to formulate and present sound advice on construction matters to the unit and leadership teamCommitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
