Join Sii as a Senior Python Developer with Golang. Our team will be responsible for accelerating software development and strengthening security through the development of libraries, packages, and tools for two key languages Python and Go (Golang).The team creates and maintains cutting-edge tools, introduces the latest development solutions, and supports product teams dedicated to cloud storage. The project includes the development of infrastructure, development tools, and the Go and Python ecosystem within a multi-module code repository.Your tasksCreating new functionality and maintenance in PythonUpdating rServer to the latest Go SDK/runtime versions and maintaining the Go ecosystem in the repositoryCreating and developing tools for integrating and updating Go libraries (internal and external)Improving development tools: debugging, IDE integration and static analysisImplementing best practices, creating technical documentationRequirementsMinimum 8 years of experience as a programmer with PythonPractical experience working with Golang (tools, libraries, ecosystem)Ability to work with low-level code or libraries (C/C++ - an added advantage)Experience in profiling, performance optimization, and good knowledge of system issuesVery good knowledge of English - min. B2/C1Open to attending meetings with the US team in the afternoonsTax Residence in Ukraine is required, and fluency in the Ukrainian languageNice-to-have requirementsExperience working with large systems and build tools (e.g. Bazel)
